I got the tickets for them as a surprise and didn't expect it to be that good. I've listened to them for years, and so have my children.
Roxette's performance was absolutely outstanding. Definitely a night I'll never forget. There are few bands who sound so much better live, than they do on the album. I loved all of it, and so did my children. Granted, that's what it's all about, but it makes me wish they had more live albums so I can hear them again.
The worst part about them was the fact that they did an intro and talked to the crowd at the beginning of their show, then didn't say a single word after. Honestly, they walked off stage after they were done, without saying a single word. It almost seemed as if there was some type of tension between them and the other bands, but what do I know. Metric played a few too many songs, and to me, was quite average. Quite honestly, she should have played after "Metric". Halsey was excellent.
I've seen many, many concerts, and the Roxette set ranks among the top. The closest amount of creativity put into a set was the Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals tour.... but that doesn't even include the performance. I've never seen so much technology and thought put into a set.
